Salgaim Ecologic S.p.A. is dedicated to providing products and services that play an important part in the public interest, such as the collection and rendering of ABPs and the recycling of used cooking oils (UCOs).
Besides contributing by reducing environmental pollution, the group has particular attention and sensitivity towards sustainability and the green economy
Indeed, both plants have been upgraded with technologically-advanced systems that recover heat which would otherwise be lost into the environment, and which is instead used in several different industrial contexts, thereby greatly reducing energy consumption.
After years of research, "electrical workshops" have been created that generate electricity and heat from renewable sources, basically from animal fats and products certified as bioliquids.
